Compressor: Troubleshooting basics

If Compressor isn't starting up properly or performing normally, try these basic troubleshooting steps to remedy the situation. Please note that these steps aren't exhaustive, and are not intended to cover any specific issue. They are fundamental, basic steps that are most effective in getting Compressor into good working order, and are the steps most often suggested by AppleCare Technical Support. Yeah the pro apps were updated

All the proapps were updated yesterday. And if you're on leopard it fixes a bunch of things (in other words, if you were foolish enough to jump to leopard with your production system, run software update now.)

If you were 'holding off'...this might be a good time to test the water, or go over to MacFixit and wait a couple of days to see if anyone singes their fingers off.

UG mailing list problem.

Yup there's a problem with our mailing list.  Nope, don't know what it is.  Hopefully this weekend will sort it out.

Lost renders...fixed ; 6.02 fcp

Lost Render Files for Duplicated Sequences Issue Resolved

In previous versions of Final Cut Pro, rendered items of a duplicated sequence could become unrendered after you reopened a project. In these cases, the render bar indicated that the items were rendered, but the items appeared unrendered during playback in the Canvas. This issue has been resolved in Final Cut Pro 6.0.2.

I'm holding off and likely going to do a clean install...but does anyone have any thoughts?
