Sites like this are built on RSS newsfeeds.
RSS - Really Simple Syndication makes it possible to read many web headlines + a short summary. Like reading a newspaper, headlines first, RSS permits the reading of gobs of websites...merely reading the information that you're interested in.
Our feed has always been in the upper corner - CLICK HERE FOR FEED
Why will this make your life simpler? Well, if you subscribe to our feed, you can quickly scan when there are updates. Safari 2.0 (part of Tiger) has this ability. You'd see a large RSS icon in the browser's info bar.
If you don't like Safari (or it's newsreader) there are a half a dozen other piece of software (some freeware, some shareware)

I personally have been using NetNewswire from the early days (and often it's considered the best OSX RSS software.) Why will this make your life more complicated? Because you can read more information faster than you ever have been able to before.
If you're using/enjong different RSS software, feel free to drop the info in the Comments.
